| CPO is one of the oldest trading establishments in Cyprus. The first company was created in 1928 and operated for many years as C. A. Papaellinas & Co., after the name of its founder Costas A. Papaellinas.
In 1952 it was succeeded by CPO, short for Cyprus Pharmaceutical Organization Ltd, a limited liability company. In the late 70’s Costas Papaellinas passed on the ownership to his sons Thanos and Paris.
It still remains today a privately owned family company.

During the last 30 years it has expanded to a remarkable degree through organic growth and selective acquisitions, and is divided into different divisions and departments according to market segments served.
CPO is the main trading company of the Costas Papaellinas Organization in Cyprus.
